How to Draw a Chibi Girl

Step 1.


I apologize for the images being sideways. I don't know how to change it, so could someone tell me? Anyways, first, draw a circle for the head. Draw a little semicircle for the chin, and draw the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Next, draw the neck and outline of the arms. In this drawing, her arms will be in front of her body.

Step 3.


Draw the rest of the body and the legs. These will be mostly covered by her dress later.

Step 4.


Now we will draw the eyes. I drew them in my style, but feel free to change the style if you'd like.

Step 5.


Draw the nose and mouth. You can change her expression if you'd like.

Step 6.


Erase the facial guidelines. This is the last step we are going to do on the face for a little bit.

Step 7.


Start drawing the bangs.

Step 8.


Finish drawing the bangs and erase the lines from the head. Her hair is shorter in the back, so we won't need to draw any more hair from now on.

Step 9.


Start drawing the sleeves of her dress. The ends of the sleeves puff out, so make them look a bit like a cloud. Also draw the puffs around her neck.

Step 10.


Finish the dress. Make sure that the poofs at the bottom are not too large, but not too small. Erase the lines from the legs.

Step 11.


Next, draw her shoes and socks. I made the shoes simplistic, but feel free to change the design.

Step 12.


Erase the edge of the arms and put her hands. I usually just make 5 little jagged shapes for the fingers.

Step 13.


This is optional, but you can draw the little blush marks on her face.

Step 14.


Outline in black and color, and you're done! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and give me feedback for my next one. I am new to the whole "Making tutorials" thing, so I really need it. Arreviderci!
