1

First make the platform or foundation for your wooden bridge.

2

Next, sketch in the small grassy hill on one side of the land, then proceed to step three.

3

Next, use the shape you made in step one to draw out the actual structure for your wooden bridge. Draw in the hand rails, then move to step four.

4

Lastly, you will draw in the horizontal lines on the platform of the bridge to form the planks. Then draw in the spindals which holds up the hand rails in place. Add the other side of the area, then you are done and ready to erase the mistakes.

5

Here is your finished bridge work. Color it in, add some pretty trees or what have you.

Description: Here is that simple lesson I was talking about yesterday within the description for that Geisha tattoo. I totally forgot to upload "how to draw a bridge for kids", step by step. I know there will be a ton of kids and young artists that are going to want to draw pretty spring and summer scenes. Once of the things that I see around my parts is a lot of bridges. As you know a bridge is just a construction made of either wood or metal that crossing over bodies of water or marsh. The bridge acts as a junction because it allows people to cross over from one area to another. Bridges come in many different shapes, sizes, and constructions that can hold cars, trucks, or just people. Drawing a bridge for kids is a fun way to explore your artistic talents while leaving things simple. Enjoy and be sure to comment, rate or fav.
