Drawing Girl Hands

Make some guide shapes for the hands and then guidelines for the fingers and wrists.

Start on the right side and begin sketching out the hand and fingers. Also draw in the nails as well as the wrist for the left hand/arm.

We will now draw in the left arm and hand along with the nails. Leave a gap on the wrist for the bracelet.

If you want jewelry on your fingers go ahead and raw in some rings. Also draw the bangles or bracelets. Lastly, add the nail beds and some dimpling for the knuckles. Erase your mistakes and guides then you are all done.

That's it, here is the line art. Go ahead and have some fun coloring in your nails.

Description: This is actually one of my favorite lessons that I made today. It's a tutorial that will show you how to draw girl hands, step by step. Drawing hands is a task than can very, very difficult. I have helped by twelve year old sister a few times with this task and I can remember when I had difficulty making my own hands for characters I often drew. It took me a very long time to get them done right, and even sometimes I still get a little messed with with certain hand poses. I colored in the nails black, but you can leave them as a manicure, or another color you love. I will be back with one more anatomy based lesson, so stick around the day is not over yet.
