Drawing Boo from Monsters Inc

Step 1.


Let's start with the lining for Boo's body line of motion. She is in a monster suit, so the lining should accommodate the type of suit she is in.

Step 2.


The top portion of the monster suit is very much like a mop head. Draw in the thick hairs on the top of the head and be sure it looks full and not stringy.

Step 3.


We will now draw in the quirky looking eyeballs which are attached to eye stems. The pupils are in different poses so be sure to draw them in crooked.

Step 4.


Now you can draw the open mouth for the monster suit. There should be teeth, but not close together. Also add some scaling detailing.

Step 5.


It's time to draw in Boo's cute face. Start with her big eyes, then draw in the nose, mouth, hairline and ears.

Step 6.


Add the definition to the monster suit body. This consists of horizontal lines, Add some sporadic scaling too.

Step 7.


Now all we have to do is draw in the fin like arms and feet and add those ugly bumps all over the arms and feet. Erase the mistakes and guides, then you're done.

Step 8.


That's it, you are done. Now go ahead and color in Boo in her monster suit. Don't forget to upload your finished drawing of Boo so I can check out what you've done.

Description: Hello again everyone. I hope people on the Northern East Coast is enjoying these nice temperatures. Today I wanted to do something upbeat and very cute. It's no secret that I love Monsters Inc. and because of that I wanted to make a lesson on one of the most cutest characters from Disney Pixar and that is Boo. I know I drew Boo already, but I never did a drawing tutorial with Boo dressed up as a monster so she can be disguised to blend in with the rest of the monsters. Anyways, having said that here is how to draw Boo from Monsters Inc, step by step. I've been reading a few articles and it appears that they are making a Monsters Inc 3? I don't know how true that is, but if so I am going to be one of those people who will show up at the theater, front row seat. Anyways, go ahead and have fun drawing Boo.
