How to Draw Solgaleo

Step 1.


Begin by drawing the small view of Solgaleo's face. There are no guides at this point.

Step 2.


Here you will draw out the shape of the open mouth. The lips actually form the teeth. When that is done you can draw the long frill like whiskers. When that is done draw the tongue and then you are done for now.

Step 3.


You can now draw the big mane which is thick and drawn in different shapes. Some areas are also layered as well.

Step 4.


Create the top part of the head and then more of the hard shelled frills which forms a crown around the top of the head shape.

Step 5.


Next, sketch out the hair that hangs under the chin and then draw the front leg and paw. It almost has a mechanical looking style. Add the accessories and you are done here.

Step 6.


We can now tackle more of the Pokemon by drawing the other front leg and paw and then draw the back paw as well. Add detailing and definition too.

Step 7.


When you are done drawing the back leg and paw, you will also have to draw in the markings on the leg. This is battle patterns I think. Notice there is also a bracelet on the front ankle, add that as well.

Step 8.


For the final step you will only need to draw the tail and the shell like tail tuft. Erase all the mistakes and guides.

Step 9.


Here is the finished drawing when you are done. Now that it's complete you can color in your Pokemon.
