How to Draw Anime SpongeBob

Step 1.


Start off by making a simple square then draw a rectangle under the square you just made for the pants. Sketch in the facial guidelines then move along.

Step 2.


Here you will draw the actual shape of SpongeBob's body. Notice the lining is wavy because he is a sponge.

Step 3.


Using the facial guidelines draw the large shapes of the eyes, then draw the smaller then normal nose.

Step 4.


Add the lashes, then draw the eyeballs and color in the pupils. You will then draw the small mouth and small signature front teeth. Next, give SpongeBob some freckles, then draw in the spongy holes all over his face and or body. The holes shouldn't b   

Step 5.


Thicken the lining on the rectangle you drew in step one to create the pants. Draw and color in the belt which is loped through the belt loops. Add the shirt collar and draw in the small tie.

Step 6.


And lastly, draw SpongeBob's sleeves, arms and hands, then his pants, legs, socks and shoes. Erase your mistakes then you are all done here.

Step 7.


Look how cute this anime version of SpongeBob looks when finished. Now you can color him in.

Description: The anime Hello Kitty didn't come out as good as I would have liked it to, so I went ahead and made another transformed cartoon character this time from a Nickelodeon series. Up next, we will learn "how to draw anime SpongeBob", step by step. To my surprise this anime version of SpongeBob Sqaurepants came out super cute. He has this baby quality that is hard to not look at. I love how he came out and so does my little sister. She actually started laughing when she saw this version of SpongeBob for the first time because he looked so cute. I can totally picture this as a plushy because it's definitely something I would cuddle with or even display on my desk.
