How to Draw a Goose

Okay first let me say welcome to step one. Now before we begin this step let me ask you a question, do ducks lay eggs? Yes they do. So what you will do first is draw a big egg shape for the body of the goose. You will then draw a slightly curved line

You will start this step by drawing out the shape of the neck and the beak as shown. What do you think those two guidelines are for on the face? The eye that's right. Draw a small circle for the eye and then start skecthing out the wing and tail feat

You will then start this step by sketching in more detail on the face like the lining for the beak and then some feathers. You will then sketch in the breast shape and detail it with some light feather lines. Ruffle up the side of the ducks body and

Well guess what this step is? Right again, the last step. You will first start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and then sketch in more feather detailing over the whole body. You will also lengthen the wing with more pr

Description: This is going to be my last tutorial for the day because I am working on some sweet amine tutorials from a show that I recently got into over the weekend. Since I have been reading my anime books and comics I have been exploring a whole other world of manga characters. But enough about that, I will save that story for tomorrow. Today I figured I would show you kids how to draw a goose. Do you want to take a guess why I chose a goose? Well even if you didn't guess I will tell you anyway. I decided to draw a goose because I know there are young kids out there that read tales from the Mother Goose big book of fairytales. But before we begin this drawing tutorial lets talk a bit about the goose. For starters does anyone know if the goose is a duck or a bird? Well they are a part of the Anatide family which makes them part of the water bird family or duck. But since a duck lays eggs some may debate whether or not they should be categorized as birds. When I think of a goose I think of a duck that has a long black neck and a white beard. These black necked ducks are from Canada and since I am from the North east, I have the pleasure of seeing these geese almost everywhere, even on the side of the road at times. There is one thing I love, and that is feeding the ducks in the local pond near my house. I love watching these dirty water birds fight over a piece of bread because they haven't eaten all day or possibly for a few days. Ducks migrate south when cold weather approaches and when the seasons change they make their way back up the north east to lay their eggs and start a family. In this tutorial I will show you how to draw a goose step by step. The detailed steps and easy to follow instructions will help you draw this mother goose relative with ease. I will be back tomorrow with more so stay tuned to see what's in store for you next kiddies, peace out.
