Chibi Medusa Drawing Lesson

Make the guide shape for the head and then draw in the slithering body guideline.

Up next, define the shape of Medusa's chibi style face and the shapes of the first two snakes.

Complete the head shape by drawing the front two snakes on her head like so.

In this fourth step, you will draw in the remaining snake heads and color in the eyes on each one.

Add some scales on the face, use the facial guidelines to draw in and color the eyes, then draw the small mouth and slithering tongue.

Lastly, draw in chibi Medusa's body. Add the arms, tail, scales on the body and belly, then draw in the small chibi style arms. Erase the mistakes followed by the guides.

Description: I love all those Greek mythology creatures and over the past week I have been thinking about them a lot. The next three tuts are going to be on some of my favorite creatures so brace yourself for the start. Here is how to draw a chibi Medusa, step by step. I can not tell you how much I love the way this depiction of Medusa came out. Everything about her is there. The hair, face, slithering body and her evil looking face. This is such an awesome concept to recreate so go ahead and get started. While you are tackling this tut, I will be preparing the next ones.
