GIR is one of themain characters from the Nickelodeon animated television series Invader Zim. He is Zim's robot sidekick, a "modified" S.I.R. (Standard-issue Information Retrieval) unit, who occasionally dresses like a dog to disguise the fact that he's an alien robot. When asked what the 'G' in his name stood for, he aptly replied, "I don't know...." and commenced to punching himself in the head and laughing hysterically. GIR loves rubber piggies, long walks on the beach, tacos, and chocolate bubblegum.
