Here is the finished form of the chibi sketch I posted. I did this in prismacolor pencils. Something good to remember when you're doing large, flat areas of color in colored pencil is to put two or three light layers of different colors underneath before you color full value with the final color; it makes it so that you don't see the pencil strokes. With the sky in this one I put a slightly heavier layer of cream then two lighter layers of light aqua and process red over it before applying the heavy layer of violet.
