Colored version of a realistic Black Star. Coloring isn't my strong suit, but I really enjoyed doing this. I think her eyes turned out especially nice. I would love to hear your feedback. Black Star is © to me. As far as the title is concerned (if you're curious), it has a lot of symbolic meaning to Black Star herself, as well as literal. As a rebel, she was subjected to terrible experiments when she was captured. She was branded on her upper right arm, and has numerous scars on her back. But, she is also scarred by the events of her past and present. She is emotionally bruised on the deepest levels. She doesn't see herself as a beautiful person, inside or out. At times, she can act a little selfish, but she always comes through. And, when all is said and done, she has the heart of hero. She really is beautiful, isn't she...?
