You will start this first step by drawing out the outline for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines. You will then draw the neck and shoulders.

2

Sketch out the actual structure of Oscar's face, and be sure to make the jawline chiseled.

3

Here you will draw and color in the eyebrows. Sketch out the shape of his nose. This should include the nostrils a well.

4

Sketch out the shapes of the eyes, then draw in his full shaped lips.

5

You will now draw in his long charming hairstyle which makes his look whimsical and fun. Add detailing to his attractive hair, then proceed to step six.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is sketch out the neck, and then the collar or trim for his long thick coat that is trimmed with fur. Erase your mistakes and that's it.

Description: I have a lesson on a famous poet that has works that are everlasting and addictive. This tutorial is going to show you "how to draw Oscar Wilde", step by step. This poet was born in Dublin Ireland and upon his birth he was given three middle names making his full birth name 'Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde'. He is most noted for his work for 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', and 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. He is described of being a very aloof, loose, or flamboyant fellow that loved writing that was also very charismatic. Even though it's been one hundred twelve years since his death, his poetry and writings are still witty and full of life. He died on November 30, 1900 in Paris, France. His dying words where “My wallpaper and I are fighting a duel to the death. One or other of us has got to go.” Have fun drawing Oscar Wilde folks, I hope you find a use for this lesson.
