You will start out by making a circle for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Draw out the actual shape of the face, then draw in the parted hairline that frames the face.

3

Draw out the rest of her hair making sure the sides or braided area is lined with a wavy pattern.

4

Color in the hair, then draw the headband. Fill in the headband with an up/down stroke making triangles. Draw and color in the eyeballs like so, as well as draw in the lashes, eyebrows, nose, cheeks and mouth in the form of a smile. Erase the mistake

Here is the adorable Indian you just drew for kids. Now you can have a blast as you color her in.

Description: Another great face to see on the screen for Thanksgiving is an Indian. Today I wanted to make a lesson on "how to draw an Indian for kids", step by step. This is probably the cutest Indian face that I have drawn thus far. This is such an awesome depiction of an Indian girl from Native American culture. Everything about her stands out from the braided pigtails, to the headband and eyes. I love the background because it goes so well with all the colors in her style. I know you will all have fun drawing an Indian for kids. I will be back with some more lessons that I think you will enjoy. Peace out people and enjoy!
