To draw the Ninja turtles as a group you must first draw the guidelines and shapes for each character. Start with drawing the circle shapes for their heads and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw the shape of their shell shaped torso's and then

Next, start sketching out the shapes of their faces starting with the lower half which is the mouths and cheeks. When that is done you can then draw the bandanna lining as well as the shapes of their eyes.

Add some detailing lines to the bandanna as you see here and also add some definition to the humps of their noses. Once that is done you can draw the bandanna ties that are blowing in the wind, and then draw Donatello's arm and hand as you see here.

You will draw out Donatello's chest and or underside of his shell as you see here and then draw the hump for the back of Raphael's turtle shell. Once that is done you can draw his arm and hand as well as his signature weapon which is the sai. When th

Now you will start drawing out more of the other two characters. But first draw the chest of Raphael and then finish drawing his left arm. Once that is done you can then draw the back of Michelangelo's turtle shell as you see here as well as his left

You will sketch out the rest of Michelangelo's upper body and then start sketching out his other arm. Next draw the tied knots around their waists and then start sketching out their legs.

Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do now is finish drawing out the legs on all four characters as well as the knee pads, and three toed feet. When that is done you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step

When you are done with this tutorial on "How to Draw Ninja Turtles step by step", you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Color them in and your all done.

Description: “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, heroes in a half-shell, turtle power!” Remember that song from one of the most popular movies from the late eighties? I remember watching the first movie when I was seven years old. Of course the first Ninja Turtles movie came out back in 1990 I think, and took off from there. Now, I have tutorials on all four turtles, and on Master Splinter. I wanted to do a drawing that showed you "how to draw Ninja Turtles", step by step as a group. I know it's fun to draw them separately, but as a group they look so cool. I used a reference picture that I found online to draw the foursome out, and I think that they came out incredibly awesome. When I was really into TMNT, my favorite character was Michelangelo because he was the funniest out of them all. Michelangelo is the turtle that wears the orange colored bandanna and his signature weapon is the nunchaku. He is also the youngest out of the four which means he is treated like the baby sometimes. In the drawing I drew them all in an active pose with each one of them using their signature weapons. Not only is Michelangelo in the picture, there is also Leonardo who wears the blue bandanna, Donatello wears the purple bandanna, and Raphael wears the red bandanna. They all use cool weapons and have some awesome action moves. Master Splinter is the one that trained the turtles into Ninjas. When drawing the Ninja Turtles I think you will find that it is a lot easier than it looks. I was going to do a lesson on their arch enemy, Shredder, but I figured the Ninja Turtles would be better. He was always a cool character even though he was so vile and evil. Don't forget about the other two friends that the turtles have, April O'Neil the news reporter, and Casey Jones who is a washed up hockey player turned heroine. I like Casey's character because he was always using something different when he would battle crime on the streets. Whether it be a baseball bat, hockey stick, golf clubs, or a cricket bat, he was always prepared and never scared. Anyways this tutorial will show you “how to draw Ninja Turtles” step by step. I think you will have an awesome time with this lesson, and when you are done you can color them in and add the drawing to your art portfolio. I shall return soon with more drawing fun so stay tuned in and happy drawing!
