How to Draw Unicorns for Kids

1

Begin the first step with some simple shapes, two circles for the heads, and two shapes for the bodies. Add the face and neck guides as well.

2

It's better to just work on one unicorn at a time because you can concentrate on one thing instead of two. Draw in the side profile of the unicorn's face which is the muzzle and jaw. Draw in the eyes, nostril holes, and mouth. The lining for the top

3

For the head shape just draw out the entire mane which is thick, puffy, and very big. Add some strand lines like so, and then draw in the ears, and horn.

4

Get started with the body and draw in the neck, front legs, some of the chest, and then the hooves.

5

Draw in the hind quarters of the unicorn, and then draw in the curly tail. Add the hooves and move along.

6

The first thing you have to do here is sketch in the shape of the second unicorn's heart shaped face. Draw in only one ear for now because the second one will be done in a later step.

7

Draw out her entire mane which is flowing to the right, and also notice how her hair or mane is combed to one side. Draw in the other ear, horn, and then the hair strand lines.

8

Here you will draw out the front legs and hooves like so, and then draw in some of the chest and belly.

9

Draw the back, butt end, and then draw out the hind leg and hoof. Erase all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and see how it looks when it is all done.

10

Here is what your unicorns for kids looks like when you are all done. Now you can color them in and be on your way to something new.

Description: Let's start jumpin' into a tutorial that is pretty cute and cool for all those fans of fantasy, and of course the unicorn. A lot of you who are fan of horses, must be watching 'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic' a cute cartoon that fills your needs to see cartoon horses that can do many magical things (flying, casting magic, etc). This was a real treat to work on, mainly because I love drawing cartoon styled horses as well as realistic ones. You should check out my other cool tuts that feature horses, there's a lot of cool poses, especially the Pegasus. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy this wicked tutorial, I had so much fun sketching, inking, and coloring these horses. Make sure you drop by my livestream to see more creation for future kid tutorials. Thanks for viewing and have fun with this tutorial. Peace out and good luck in your future drawing endeavors!
